Answer

What is euthanasia?

Means of intentionally ending a life in order to relieve pain and suffering.
This is also called as "mercy killing"
And euthanasia is categorized in different ways, which include voluntary, non-voluntary, or involuntary. These can be more divided into passive or active euthanasia.
Passive euthanasia entails the withholding of common treatments, such as antibiotics, necessary for the continuance of life.
Active euthanasia entails the use of lethal substances or forces, such as administering a lethal injection, to kill and this is very controversial.
There are different laws in many countries about euthanasia.

  1. I didn't know that there are two kinds of euthanasia (passive and active) ,I think that involuntary euthanasia may be the most controversial than active, because at that time , patient is in a deep coma or became a plant man, we don't know what will they thinking, are they want to live or want to die? If they want to live and we let them keep alive, may be miracle will happen in the future. So we can't decide for them . However for the people who is voluntary. I think we can follow what then want, to end their pain. It's humanism.
